Our story
What once started with one suitcase full of tools has grown into the Carpentryproject in twenty years. A school where there is room for more than 50 underprivileged students per year to develop themselves. Where people dream big and work hard. Where students learn to make beautiful things and to look after others.
2000
The first suitcase full of tools went to Guatemala
2005
The Carpentryproject starts at the school where we are now. Then with two small rooms and a small landing.

2009
The first teacher is hired.
2015
Start with the vocational training. The first youngsters are trained as carpenters.
2019
The school where we started in 2005 is now fully owned by us, which means: more rooms, more lessons, more children
